My Story

I was fortunate to grow up on the land, a childhood that nurtured my love for caring for animals, big and small. I’ve always believed farming is either in your blood or it isn’t. Over time, I’ve come to understand this more deeply — those who truly experience life on the land know we are not here to control or manage our environment, but to live as part of it. The ecosystem has an innate ability to sustain and restore when it is respected and supported.

This understanding continues to shape the way I approach health and healing.

As I started a family, I chose to step away from the industry. We focused on growing our own food using organic and regenerative methods, prioritising soil health and nutrient density. This experience reinforced what I had long felt — that true health begins with how we care for the land and what we nourish our bodies with.

My working life began in agriculture on remote cattle stations, where the wide-open spaces deepened my respect for the land and the natural systems we depend on. This path led me to complete an Advanced Diploma in Agriculture, a Diploma in Agronomy, and my Wool Classing certification.

I later worked as an agronomist advising farmers in broadacre cropping systems. While the role provided valuable experience, it also raised important questions. I became increasingly aware that many conventional farming practices were not sustainable for the land and relied heavily on chemical inputs, with little understanding of their long-term impact on food quality and health.

During this time, I also studied Neuro Integration Systems (NIS), which deepened my understanding of how physical, emotional, and chemical stressors influence wellbeing. Through this work, I experienced firsthand how energetics and frequency-based approaches can be powerful, yet often underutilised, tools for restoring balance and supporting optimal health.

Homeopathy became a natural continuation of this journey — a gentle, holistic modality that works with the body’s innate ability to heal, for both people and animals.

I’m honoured you’re here to learn more about this approach and explore how homeopathy may support you. You’re warmly invited to follow @theruralhomeopath for updates, insights, and shared success stories.
